The Systems Engineer is involved in all phases of the product development process and provides systems-level expertise through activities such as use case and requirements elicitation, system architecture development, design trade-off studies, interface definition, decomposition and allocation of requirements, risk management, and the planning, coordination and execution of system integration, verification and validation activities.
This role draws on your broad technical expertise and experience. You will collaborate with a highly skilled, cross-functional product development team to ensure that the system design meets its functional, performance, quality, schedule and cost targets.

The Production group is responsible for the assembly, testing, configuration, packaging and shipping of GPS products. As, Team Lead, you will provide leadership to 5 - 8 assemblers and senior assemblers who assemble, test, configure, package and ship products in a lean manufacturing environment.

You will establish and execute product strategy for correction services and lead cross-functional initiatives to bring products and services to market that meet the needs of Hexagon PI’s diverse customer base. Application Engineering provides general product and application support for NovAtel hardware and software, and on related GNSS & INS topics, along with field services to NovAtel’s worldwide customer base. While part of the global Application Engineering team, this position will have a focus on supporting NovAtel’s Precision Agriculture customers in Europe and will report into NovAtel's head office located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The successful candidate can be home based anywhere in Western Europe.
