Veripos Limited is a Hexagon company and is part of a group of worldwide companies that form the Hexagon Autonomy and Positioning division (Hexagon A&P).  As a provider of high precision navigation and positioning products and services to the offshore marine and gas industry,  we are looking for a full time permanent GNSS Network Technician to join our Service Delivery Group in Aberdeen.   VERIPOS Service Delivery Group is responsible for delivering real time corrections to VERIPOS clients. We maintain a diverse network of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) reference stations, data from which is relayed to our 24/7 manned Network Control Centre (NCC) where it is analysed in realtime prior to being packaged and delivered to clients primarily via satellite systems.   As part of this shift team you will ensure the quality of GNSS reference station systems and availability of real time corrections to clients as wells as providing customer support via the VERIPOS Helpdesk. Proactive troubleshooting and identification of GNSS and network issues must be performed during shifts, the shifts being 12hrs, on a 4 day on 4 day off rotation. With testing and installation of new services and systems, for use in one of VERIPOS’s three globally located NCCs, an integral part of the position, some international onshore travel may be required from time to time.

The Hexagon Autonomous Vehicle By-Wire Team unlocks control of autonomous vehicles. The team develops Hexagon proprietary by-wire system control modules and then integrates those modules along with actuators, harnessing, brackets, and other proprietary circuitry into vehicles to unlock control of various vehicle systems such as throttle, steering, braking, gear selection, lighting, and more. These systems enable vehicles to be controlled by autonomous software modules.  The lead autonomous by-wire engineer role is a unique key role located in Perth, Western Australia. In this role, you would be responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as developing the by-wire system, maintaining customer relationships, providing support, validating system updates, acting as the liaison for the wider by-wire team located in the US, growing the Australian team, and more. You would initially work with a small team of two existing Hexagon engineers relocated to Australia on a 12 month assignment. After the 12 months, you would become the primary contact to support the project, evaluate future projects, and eventually build a small by-wire team you would  lead.
