Senior SuccessFactors Analyst

Hexagon's HRIS & Analytics team is looking for a Senior SuccessFactors Analyst to own the configuration, integrity, and ongoing evolution of our SAP SuccessFactors environment. This is primarily a systems role you'll be the go-to expert for configuration across Employee Central, Position Management, Compensation, and other core SuccessFactors modules with a secondary responsibility supporting the team's Power BI reporting and analytics work.

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role. You'll work directly with other Hexagon Business Areas to keep SuccessFactors configuration sound across the full suite, support system integrations, and lend analytics support helping maintain dashboards and metrics as time allows alongside your primary configuration duties.

The Location: This position can be based in Calgary, AB on a hybrid model or in the US on a remote model.

As Senior SuccessFactors Analyst you will be responsible for these activities:

• Configure and maintain SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, including foundation objects, business rules, workflows, and role-based permissions.
• Own and maintain the Position Management structure, including the Position Org Chart and Company Structure Overview.
• Configure and maintain SAP SuccessFactors Compensation, including comp templates, worksheets, guidelines, budget pools/statements, and merit and bonus planning cycles.
• Support configuration across other core SuccessFactors modules as needed Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Succession & Development, and Learning.
• Manage integrations between SuccessFactors and other business systems, including field mapping, replication scope, and data validation across multiple systems.
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies between SuccessFactors and downstream systems, and document data flows for audit and governance purposes.
• Lead UAT planning and execution for HRIS system changes, releases, and cutover events.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for SuccessFactors configuration questions
• Translate human resources business needs into functional design documents and scalable system solutions.
• Provide training and documentation to HRBPs and business stakeholders on SuccessFactors configuration changes and supporting reports.
• Provide backup and support for Power BI dashboards used by key business stakeholders, including headcount, turnover, recruiting, and business metrics.
• Assist with the transition of legacy/manual reports into validated Power BI equivalents as capacity allows.
• Provide ad hoc reporting support for divisional and enterprise leadership as needed, including quarterly business reviews and workforce planning cycles.

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience administering SAP SuccessFactors, with hands-on configuration experience across multiple modules (Employee Central and Position Management required; Compensation required; exposure to Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Succession, or Learning strongly preferred).
• Deep understanding of SuccessFactors configuration: foundation objects, business rules, workflows, role-based permissions, position management, and compensation template/worksheet design.
• Experience supporting SuccessFactors integrations with other systems
• Working familiarity with Power BI or a similar BI tool (building or maintaining dashboards, basic data modeling).
• Strong understanding of HR data structures (headcount, position management, compensation, org hierarchy) and how they map to downstream systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills comfortable presenting to and taking direction from senior HR and business leaders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical system detail into clear, decision-ready insights.

Nice-to-Have:

• SAP SuccessFactors certification(s) in Employee Central, Position Management, and/or Compensation
• Experience configuring annual compensation planning cycles end-to-end, including budget pool setup and executive review/approval workflows
• Experience with Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Succession, or Learning module configuration
• Experience supporting M&A-related HR data integration or divestitures
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks (stewardship, data quality, definitions & change control, access & security).
• Experience in a matrixed, multi-divisional organization.
