Sales Representative

Hexagon’s Autonomous Solutions division is looking for a Sales Representative - Agriculture to join our Agriculture team in Europe. Reporting to the Key Account Manager, this role will be responsible for building customer relationships, leading sales discussions, and growing precision agriculture sales with a key account across EMEA.

In your daily role, you will network throughout the region with the customer’s engineers, product managers, sales teams, and marketing groups, with the goal of integrating Hexagon products into the customer’s portfolio to increase sales.

 
The Location: This is a remote position based in Europe. The successful candidate must have a home office located near a major airport and be able to travel at least 50% of the time. Regular travel is expected to customer locations throughout Europe, including Basildon, England; St. Valentin, Austria; Zedelgem, Belgium; and locations throughout northern and central Italy.

As Sales Representative - Agriculture, you will be responsible for these activities:

• Identify and develop new opportunities through proactive business development.
• Drive sales opportunities in the region with an established key account.
• Own the overall sales forecast for the region and provide key market intelligence.
• Work with individual factories to ensure orders ship on time and as expected.
• Improve the customer experience throughout the region, with a focus on customer excellence.
• Engage in daily customer and internal interactions to solve challenges and ensure strategic goals are met within the account.
• Assist the Key Account Manager with developing global and regional account plans, setting objectives, analyzing forecasts, preparing reports, and meeting sales targets.
• Coordinate and lead technical sales demonstrations and trade-show participation.
• Develop and maintain industry contacts and networks, while providing industry and market knowledge to internal teams.
• Act as the regional voice of the customer and market by sharing structured feedback with Marketing, Engineering, and other internal stakeholders to inform product roadmaps, sales growth strategies, and technical content.

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Technical, Agriculture, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in a technical customer support or sales role.
• First-hand experience utilizing precision agriculture systems.
• Experience with CRM reporting, forecasting methodologies, and account planning frameworks.
• A solid understanding of precision agriculture technology, products, services, and competition.
• Ability to effectively prepare and deliver technical presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Salesforce.
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time, including international travel.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• A home office located near a major airport.

Nice To Have:

• Experience working within the agricultural equipment distribution channel.
• Experience in business-to-business account management.
• Strong understanding of GNSS principles.
• Proficiency in an additional language, particularly French, German, Italian, or Spanish.
