Overview

Veripos, part of Hexagon’s Autonomous Solutions is looking for an Account Manager.   We provide a range of industry leading GNSS services and products to the Offshore Marine and Survey industry which has customer service as its key to success. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with a technical background who has experience of customer support in a commercial role to further develop their career. The Account Manager will take ownership of ensuring that our customers receive complete customer satisfaction from vessel mobilisation to through life operational service. The successful candidate will have a varied work schedule that encompasses, technical support, commercial proposals, project management and financial reporting.

This position is with Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division, a global technology leader, pioneering end-to-end solutions industry leaders rely on for assured positioning and autonomy on land, sea and air.  Our work touches every aspect of life, from sustainability on Earth to enabling autonomy. Within the Autonomy & Positioning division your work will contribute to the operation of our brand(s) NovAtel, AutonomouStuff, VERIPOS and Antcom.

 

The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is located in Aberdeen, UK. 

 

Responsibilities

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Actively manage customer accounts including negotiate contract renewals or commercial quotations
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives adhering to company quality and safety standards
  • Develop new, additional business with existing customers
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Vessel mobilisations: Ensuring that the relevant materials, personnel and documentation have been requested to allow satisfactory completion of the mobilisation
  • Ensuring that the final product/service is compliant to Customer’s specification, meeting all contractual and quality requirements

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • A recognised higher education Technical qualification or several years relevant experience in the Offshore Marine, Survey and Positioning industry
  • Conversational English both Written and Oral
  • Experience of Commercial Customer Support, i.e. Sales, Sales Engineer (Internal/External), Project Manager etc.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word and SalesForce
  • Ability to travel for customer meetings, industry trade shows and other events.
