Overview

Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division is looking for a Intermediate Business Systems Developer (English & Portuguese/ Spanish speaking) to join our Information Systems team and provide specialist focus across our Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) platforms. You will report directly to the Manager, Business Systems, and will be accountable for activities associated with the implementation, development, integration, and support of our diverse enterprise application stack. The successful candidate will ideally be based in Brazil, Chile or Peru. However, opportunity will be given to remote working applicants based within a reasonable proximity. On-site presence will be required for the performance of some duties. The successful candidate will be able to think strategically and operate tactically to assist in the delivery of our Information Systems roadmap. You will play a pivotal role in defining our ERP strategy and setting our vision through your outcome-based interactions with the business.

 

Location: Hexagon is a global company with offices around the world. This role is based in Florianopolis, Brazil, or Chile or Peru.

Responsibilities

As our Business Systems Developer, responsibilities include:


• Providing input into the design and implementation of ERP solutions across all our A&P brands.
• Serving as the technical analyst on a ERP migration project for one of our brands.
• Providing day-to-day support and development services for corporate business applications, including Syteline.
• Writing and maintaining SQL stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Conducting system maintenance, debugging and SQL database support/maintenance.
• Gathering business requirements from key business areas and inputting into the creation of IS solutions to meet those requirements.
• Working with business areas and ERP vendors, where appropriate, to ensure effective integration of business processes into new and existing system solutions.
• Creating comprehensive documentation and providing user training where required.
• Ensuring ongoing availability and performance of business applications.

Qualifications

Must-Have:


• Experience working in SLA-driven organizations.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a related information technology role.
• Proven history of delivering customer service excellence.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in architecture, system design, application security and data conversion.
• Direct experience in object-oriented language/frameworks, relational database management systems, web technologies, and/or other software application development platforms.
• Knowledge in programming languages: (JAVA, C#, VB), Scripting: (XML, HTML, JSON, CSS, XSLT), databases: (MS SQL) Management Studio, SSRS, SSIS.
