Assistant Financial Analyst

Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division is looking for a full time permanent Assistant Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team based in our Veripos office.   

The role of Assistant Financial Analyst is a member of the Veripos Global Finance Organisation and is responsible for accurate analysis of month end results. The role will include data analysis for internal and external reporting, assisting with recharging and treasury transactions and any other adhoc accounting matters.

The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is based in Aberdeen, UK.

As an Assistant Financial Analyst responsibilities include:

• Analysis of General Ledger data to assist month end review of costs against forecast and prior year
• Monthly cost gathering of rechargeable costs and providing assistance with the monthly recharging across the Autonomous Solutions group of entities
• Assistance with the preparation and maintenance of internal activity rates
• Providing assistance to the Treasury function by processing bank transactions within the ERP system.
• Data gathering for the cash-flow forecasting process
• Ensuring that adequate internal controls and processes have been implemented in accordance with global policies
• To prepare ad-hoc internal reports and other duties as required by the Veripos Group Financial Controller

Must Have:

• Experience of working within a Finance Department
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Attention to detail

• Strong planning and organisation skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to adapt to organisation needs

Nice to Have:

• Syteline & OneStream Experience desirable
