Overview

Hexagon's Autonomy and Positioning division is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our global engineering and manufacturing company that does cool stuff that matters. We support a large, global internal and external customer base and sell products and services across several A&P technology brands. You will work closely with your team, build relationships with your customers, and continuously learn. In this role you will drive sales and revenue growth while also shaping A&P sales processes, workflows, and team culture. This is an excellent role to develop skills as a sales professional and establish your career in the evolving global A&P Sales organization. The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is based in Calgary, AB or Morton, IL. Additional locations will be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

As Inside Sales Representative, you will:

  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Triage inquiries to appropriate persons/departments by seeking to answer questions and solve problems
  • Support Field Sales Team by creating quotes, managing customer accounts, new customer set up, receiving, and processing purchase orders
  • Complete direct sales to customers as assigned; working with customers throughout the sales cycle
  • Data Management (in CRM / ERP systems)
  • Gain a solid understanding of company products and services
  • Interface and facilitate communications across internal departments
  • Conduct sales market research, industry, and account prospecting
  • Limited Travel and some over time as needed

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Engineering, or related field)
  • 3+ years working experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, or related field
  • Working CRM knowledge/experience
  • Experience working within ERP system
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Passion for selling and proven customer service skillset
  • Team player
