Hexagon’s Autonomy and Positioning (A&P) division is looking for a Product Compliance Manager to lead our dynamic team.

Reporting to the Director of Product Compliance & Lifecycle, you will utilize both your proven technical skills and functional leadership experience to guide and evolve our team through new product development and sustaining projects for our A&P organization.

As the Manager for the Product Compliance team, you will provide the mentorship and decision-making support to ensure that programs meet their commitments. Your oversight, vision and guidance will ensure that the Hexagon A&P product portfolio meets and maintains compliance to all customer, regulatory, environmental, substance and safety requirements.

You will be accountable for the planning and execution of the team deliverables and must effectively manage continuous improvement to all policies, processes, and practices. You will work closely with your team members and project teams to ensure effective decisions are made and all challenges are well managed. Your high level of subject matter experience and interest in functional management ensures you are fully engaged with your team and that an outstanding dynamic is maintained.


The Location: Hexagon is a global company with offices around the world. This position is based in Calgary, AB. 


As a Manager, Product Complaince, responsibilities include: 

  • Manage and lead the product compliance team in support of our business strategies and values
  • Oversee and optimize the estimation, planning, testing and documentation for all product compliance activities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and business teams to further evolve the compliance processes for the entire business value chain
  • Model an environment of trust, innovation, transparency and accountability
  • Align, develop and utilize the team member skills to manage current and emerging regulations for; EMC, EMI, RF, Safety, Environmental, Regulated substance, Type approvals and Customer requirements
  • Lead, develop and maintain ISO 16949 compliant processes and proactively improve them to reduce waste, risk and time to market
  • Provide test standard interpretation, testing strategies and design support
  • Provide semi-annual performance appraisals, objective setting, guidance and regular 1:1 meetings



  • Engineering degree or Technology diploma from a recognized institution
  • 8+ years of experience in the areas of product safety, EMC, EMI, RF and Homologation
  • 5+ years of leadership and functional management experience in a high technology development environment with large teams
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs and strong computer skills

  • Knowledge of GPS/GNSS
  • Experience with ISO 17025, ISO 16949, ISO 14001
