Manager, Infrastructure and Cloud Operations

Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division is looking for a Manager, Infrastructure and Cloud Operations to join our Information Systems team and work across our global brands.

As a member of the Information Systems team, you will be accountable for all aspects of Infrastructure and Cloud leadership. You will lead a high-performing team of network, cloud, and infrastructure resources, achieving excellence in our strategic objectives and operational accountabilities. Your expertise and ambition will help our team meet schedule, cost, and quality expectations for our most critical initiatives, and you will be relied upon to manage resourcing, guide career pipelines, and perform intentional coaching and mentoring. You are a strategic thinker who will help align IS deliverables to our core Hexagon A&P business objectives. You have a strong technical foundation which you have evolved into an ability to drive roadmaps and build mature practices, including multi-cloud environments and complex organizations.

As Manager, Infrastructure and Cloud Operations, responsibilities include:

• Lead a diverse team in a fast paced and complex environment
• Lead our upcoming IT transformation program
• Ensure infrastructure projects are delivered within scope and budget, while maintaining excellence in quality
• Collaborate with various divisions and teams to understand business problems and develop quality outcomes
• Build collaborative technology roadmaps that contribute to our Strategic Objectives
• Conduct performance management activities such as objectives setting and professional development plans
• Participate in the IT budget planning and forecasting process
• Ensure all current KPIs are met, while having a continuous improvement mindset
• Drive the development and maturity of our Hexagon A&P Cloud practice
• Effectively manage resources across multiple projects and operational tasks to prevent resource conflicts
• Demonstrate process improvements by building consistent, repeatable, and efficient practice
• Understand and adhere to compliance frameworks such as NIST, TISAX, and ISO
• Communicate major project milestones and challenges to the IT steering committee
• Plan and manage the infrastructure workforce plan
• Create and maintain A&P information technology policy documents
• Work closely with the Information Security team to ensure all IT assets are protected
• Liaise with external vendors and contractors
• Foster an inclusive, diverse, and respectful culture through leadership by example

Must-Have:                         

• Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent education with 5+ years of Management experience
• Proficient with various Information Security frameworks (NIST SP 800-171/CMMC, ISO27001, TISAX, etc.)
• Substantial experience and expertise on Cloud technologies, platforms, and solutions
• Deep knowledge and experience in all facets of infrastructure technologies, including but not limited to networking, Windows server, virtualization, storage, and data protection
• Experience developing and running Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans
• Experience integrating complex organizations after acquisition activities
• Able to travel internationally
