Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division is seeking an experienced, strategic and visionary Agriculture Positioning Product Manager. As a preferred OEM supplier of high precision positioning technology, our customers develop solutions and services that solve many of the world's most exciting and difficult positioning challenges – assured autonomy and positioning for agriculture guidance and precision farming systems. Your role within the team will be pivotal to the successful marketing of our company to our highly diverse, worldwide customer base.

Responsibilities

The Agriculture Positioning Product Manager is responsible for:

  • Strategizing and planning how best to represent the company’s value proposition, products and services related to our customers’ Agricultural positioning needs
  • Defining product line vision and ensuring alignment with division and business area objectives.
  • Gathering and defining customer requirements that support the company’s vision.
  • Understanding the buying criteria of the company’s customers and tailoring product marketing to these needs
  • In collaboration with the Agriculture Marketing Director:
    • Recommending the Product roadmap & future product definition
    • Product positioning & value proposition
    • Product-specific collateral and sales support as required
    • Competitive analysis and evaluation
    • Creating product proposals; establish the business case
  • Championing product through its lifecycle - from idea to end-of-life
  • Executing product launch activities, product sheets, feature briefs and other relevant collateral related to new products and services

Qualifications

Must-have:

  • 2+ years of product management or related experience
  • 5+ years of experience with GNSS positioning products
  • Degree in Technical-Engineering and/or Business-Marketing related field 
  • Basic understanding of product development processes
  • Strong business & financial acumen
  • Strong written and oral communication skills from both technical and marketing perspectives
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in Precision Agriculture markets is highly preferred
  • Background in Geomatics Engineering
  • MBA
