AutonomouStuff is looking for a Quality and Environmental Manager working from the Morton, IL location.  The Quality and Environmental Manager will work with corporate and local management to implement a Quality Management System and oversee facility environmental monitoring.

  • Collaborate with corporate and local management in the development of goals and long term initiatives for the Quality Management System at AutonomouStuff
  • Facilitate continuous improvement and process documentation for AutonomouStuff
  • Assist all processor owners in drafting process documentation
  • Oversee facility environmental monitoring and have oversight of hazardous and non-hazardous waste elimination
  • Drive a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management
  • Responsible for environmental management system
  • Develop, implement and monitor day-to-day quality control systems and processes that provide visibility into quality KPIs and our progress toward quality objectives
  • Ensure quality policies and processes are accurate and effective
  • Lead the efforts and implementation to achieve ISO 9001 certification
  • Lead the internal audit program and manage ISO audits
  • Establish and perform quality training programs for all employees
  • Ensure the management of non-conformities, customer complaints and the implementation of corrective actions



  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of Quality Management experience in a production environment with the proven ability to influence and motivate others to reach quality goals
  • ISO 9001 certification experience
  • Excellent communication, organization and presentation skills
  • Well versed in collaborating with internal and external leaders to understand customers’ requirements, create solutions and process improvement initiatives
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel and Document Control Systems
  • Previous project management experience

Nice-to-Have:Lean, Lean / Six Sigma, or Six Sigma Manufacturing Certification

  • Technical knowledge in assembly of vehicles (on or off-highway) and electronics installations
  • Experience with regulatory compliance (RoHS / REACH)
  • ISO 9001 Certified Auditor
  • Supplier qualification experience
  • ISO 14001 certification experience
