Overview

Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division needs an experienced, strategic leader and visionary Core Products Segment Manager. You will be part of the team who defines and brings key technologies to the market that will enable the next major revolution in precise positioning. The core products portfolio includes the NovAtel brand GNSS receiver cards, including the industry leading OEM7 platform.

Responsibilities

The Core Products Segment Manager is responsible for:

  • Leading the team of Product Managers that defines and maintains the vision, strategy and multi generation roadmap for NovAtel’s GNSS receiver products
  • Defining requirements and use-cases for new core receiver card products and technologies
  • Product requirements definition for core product technology offerings across a variety of horizontal market types
  • Defining and presenting the product portfolio roadmaps and “go-to-market” strategy to executive leaders
  • Creation of storytelling and value proposition for the core products portfolio
  • Working collaboratively with vertical market segments managers, engineering, and the business development teams to develop a “go-to-market” and customer strategy to maximize the value proposition of the core products portfolio for all of Hexagon A&Ps customers
  • Gather information and get agreements among company stakeholder for business models, product positioning and pricing strategy
  • “Go to market” strategy and marketing message for product marketing collateral
  • Leading cross-functional teams to develop and bring to market the most innovative portfolio for core card products
  • Analyse and report key portfolio KPIs for portfolio metrics and industry intelligence to take business decisions
  • Competitive products analysis and technology trends with the support of the Applied Technology Group
  • Regional and international customer visits to understand customer challenges and future needs
  • Attend tradeshows and conferences to represent Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 10+ years of B2B experience in electronic or software products
  • 5+ years experience in engineering development, quality processes or product management
  • 3+ years of product management or product marketing experience
  • Degree in a related technical or business field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Nice-to-Have:

  • Business degree or MBA
