As a Project Manager in the Program & Process Management Team you will play a vital role in delivering timely, high quality GNSS Products.  Working with a talented team of business and technical professionals, you will lead the detailed planning and execution of a variety of project types.  Drawing on your proven skills and experience, you will also have the opportunity to help shape NovAtel Project Management best practices.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage project schedule, scope, cost, and quality to deliver exceptional products aligned with business needs
• Work with stakeholders and cross-functional development teams in order to drive project success through the use of project Planning and Monitoring & Control activities, in accordance with NovAtel’s development process.
• Proactively monitor, control and respond to project issues and risks
• Manage the approvals process for content changes (in and out)
• Ensure timely and clear project communications with team members and other stakeholders, including:
• Fostering a collaborative team environment within the project team
• Leading project meetings
• Managing project tracking and communication tools
• Preparing regular project status reports and dashboard updates
• Actively listening and addressing team concerns before issues arise
• Actively contribute to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives, both by identifying new opportunities and leading or assisting with implementations

Must-Have:

• B.Sc. in Engineering or Computer Science
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies with a minimum of 3 years of project management experience
• A minimum of 10 years of combined product development and project management experience
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate work in a cross functional team
• Strong interpersonal skills for fostering productive relationships and creating a collaborative working atmosphere
• Ability to analyze, communicate and address complex issues independently and/or with the support of project resources
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools like MS Project, Microsoft Teams, Jira, Confluence
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities, demands and timelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
