    DESCRIPTION OF TEAM & SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    The FInal Configuration and Shipping Team as a part of Production group is responsible for the final software loading, assembly and packaging of GPS products, kits and accessories and shipping them to customers. This is a team based role, in a respectful and culturally diverse workplace. The environment is safety conscious as well as temperature and humidity controlled.     The teams work in 2 rotating shift schedules: 7:00 am - 2:45 pm / 2:30 pm - 10:15 pm (May require some overtime work , including weekends)
     

    Responsibilities

    DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

    As Final Configuration Assembler, you would be:

    • Responsible for configuring and packaging of GPS products, kit assembly and accessories packaging
    • Contribute and be involved in continuous improvements
    • Work conditions: Repetitive tasks, lifting ~ 40 Lbs, Manual dexterity
    • Receiving of products from production in MRP system
    • Following standard work in a Lean Manufacturing Processes

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Must-Have:

    • 1-2 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
    • High School Diploma
    • Good working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
    • Ability and willingness to work either shift on a rotating basis (7:00 AM - 2:45 PM & 2:30 PM - 10:15 PM)
    • Ability and willingness to work overtime, including weekends, as needed

    • Attention to details
    • Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions
    • Able to work in a fast paced team environment with minimal supervision

    Nice-to-Have: 

    • Experience with electronic troubleshooting and repair
    • Experience in shipping
    • Experience in a lean manufacturing environment
    • Experience with MRP system, such as Syteline
