  • Overview

    Order Management is responsible for developing and establishing relationships with key customers. The team has full responsibility for end to end order processing, and works closely with other departments to ensure customer and NovAtel success. This 16-22 month temporary position provides the opportunity to work in a challenging and empowering environment within Business Operations, which is known for its best practices and commitment to continuous improvement.

    Responsibilities

    As Order Management Specialist you would be responsible for:

    • Administering all aspects of Sales Order fulfillment (receiving Purchase Orders, providing Sales Order Confirmation to the Customer, ensuring timely shipping, etc.)
    • Maintaining accurate customer information (billing & location details, and contact/user records) on internal systems
    • Servicing and supporting external and internal customers, as it relates to order processing
    • Liaising with other internal departments (Sales, Finance, Shipping/Receiving, Supply Chain, etc.)
    • Leading continuous improvement initiatives with relevant groups to ensure customer requests are successfully implemented

    Qualifications

    Must-Have:                      

    • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in liberal arts or business
    • Strong interpersonal as well as written and spoken communication skills are essential
    • Proven ability to work with diverse groups of people in challenging and complex endeavors, as demonstrated by successful team experience
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
    • Ability to multitask with a focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction
    • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook

    Key Success Factors:

    • Proven ability to work with diverse groups of people in challenging and complex endeavors, as demonstrated by successful team experience

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience with either customer service or order management processes
    • Experience with ERP systems
    • Experience in creating and implementing business processes
    • Multilingual skills a plus
