  • Overview

    As the Defense Segment Manager for Hexagon Positioning Intelligence (Hexagon PI) you will be market analysis, product and services definition, and go to market strategy for the Hexagon PI portfolio of defense products.   


    In this permanent role (based at 10921 - 14th Street N.E., Calgary, Alberta T3K 2L5) you will have opportunities to interact with our customers and partners around the globe, as well as working closely and collaboratively with Engineering to drive advancement of the defense product portfolio across Hexagon PI.


    Hexagon Positioning Intelligence is part of the Hexagon Group and includes NovAtel, Antom and Veripos.


    The Defense Segment Manager is responsible for:

    • Revenue growth and margin within the defense segment
    • Strategize and plan how best to represent the company’s value proposition, products and services in the defense market
    • Market sizing, analysis, trending
    • Quarterly sales reporting & analysis
    • Sales forecasting by product
    • Gathering of customer requirements and use-cases
    • Assist the Defense Sales Managers with:
      • identifying potential new customers
      • new customer capture
      • key account management through integration and product transition
    • Work with the Product Management team to define Defense segment specific products and features as required
    • Work with the Strategic and Technical Marketing team to define Defense segment specific marketing collateral
    • Competitive analysis and evaluation
    • Champion product through lifecycle from idea to end of life



    • Masters Degree in Business
    • 3+ years working experience in high technology product marketing or business development specific to the defense industry
    • 10+ years technical engineering experience
    • Proven success with revenue growth linked to product strategy
    • Working knowledge of New Product Introduction in a high technology manufacturing environment
    • Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
    • GNSS business experience

    Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 CAD base salary; individual objective based bonus may qualify you for an additional 4.5% of base salary annually
