Overview

Antcom, a wholly owned subsidiary of NovAtel and part of the Hexagon Group, excels at designing, developing and manufacturing a wide range of antennas and microwave products for a variety of industries including: aerospace, defense, marine and agricultural industries. We are currently searching for a highly motivated and collaborative Manager, Production to lead a team of technicians and assemblers to oversee low rate production and build engineering prototypes. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work closely with Engineering and Sales in supporting product development and meeting our customers’ requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a manufacturing team which includes technical team leads
  • Develop a new product introduction plan in conjunction with Engineering
  • Create schedules to ensure optimum staffing levels and on-time delivery

  • Determine best practices for assembly, documentation and training
  • Monitor production processes and recommend improvements to eliminate waste, increase throughput and reduce cycle time

 

 

Qualifications

Must-Have:                       

  • An Electronic Technician or Technologist diploma
  • At least 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably electro mechanical assembly experience
  • At least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
  • An in-depth understanding of RF antenna manufacturing and test processes
  • Experience with various test equipment such as:       digital meter, oscilloscope, signal generator
  • Must be a US person (i.e. US citizen or permanent resident) as Antcom is an ITAR-registered facility

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working in military and defense industries
