Overview

E-commerce tools and processes are a key aspect of NovAtel's success in retaining, growing and supporting our major customers. Sales of products and services through e-commerce is a growth area for the company. To facilitate this growth, NovAtel is seeking an Global E-Commerce Manager based in Calgary, Alberta Canada. This new role is responsible for ensuring NovAtel’s E-Commerce tools represent the needs of the customer and result in sales growth of correction data products and services.

Responsibilities

As our Global E-Commerce Manager you will be responsible to:

  • Develop key e-commerce account plans and channel strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Create and take ownership of E-commerce processes and workflows targeted at improving user experience and increasing sales
  • Work together with regional sales managers and key account managers to facilitate growth of TerraStar correction service sales through E-commerce
  • Gather customer requirements as input to future ecommerce developments and projects
  • Optimize how products and services are represented, bundled and promoted
  • Develop and track metrics for growing sales through E-commerce
  • Analyze performance against metrics and making recommendations for new strategies to grow sales through E-Commerce
  • Work with support and sales managers to successfully onboard new E-commerce store customers
  • Manage the onboarding of new M2M accounts with support from E-commerce development team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of sales, marketing, support, operations and engineering personnel to guide and service customers within an e-commerce platform

Qualifications

Must-Have:                      

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related field
  • 5+ years of sales or customer support experience 
  • Advanced experience working with E-Commerce tools and development teams in a high-tech professional environment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in various Customer Relationship Management tools including Sales Force
  • Ability to travel for occasional customer visits

  • GNSS experience
