NovAtel is currently hiring a Material Handler/Inventory Analyst to join our Materials Team that is responsible for inventory management of all materials from receiving and inspection to material handling. This is a team based role, in a respectful and culturally diverse workplace. The environment is safety conscious as well as temperature and humidity controlled. Responsibilities as our Material Handler/Inventory Analyst include:

  • Perform daily inventory transactions to support in-house manufacturing
  • De-trash and dispose of boxes and other packaging
  • Picking and Setup of materials for production jobs
  • Ensure inventory and related processes, transactions and records are accurate and sufficient
  • Ensure daily activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure department and NovAtel goals and objectives are met
  • Seek and implement continuous improvements using Lean methodologies



  • High School diploma
  • 2 - 5 years related experience in material handling or warehousing, preferably in a production environment
  • Experience and use of visual manufacturing processes and systems
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Ability to work shift work if required (7:00AM-2:45PM 2:30PM-11:15PM); May also be required to work Overtime, including weekends

  • Experience and use of Inventory management systems
  • Experience in cycle counting and investigation of variances
  • Lean warehouse and materials management experience
