As a member of the Global Sales Management Team and reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director of Global Agriculture Sales will lead a team of global sales, business development and account management professionals in one of our key markets.  If you are passionate about the Ag industry and technology, this is a great opportunity to influence innovation in precision agriculture. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance, leadership and coaching to the Global Ag Sales Team to achieve annual revenue goals
  • Set sales, commission and growth targets bi-annually
  • Lead the annual global strategic planning process for the agriculture market segment
  • Lead the strategic OEM account planning and forecasting for the agriculture market segment
  • Recommend and implement sales and marketing initiatives
  • Maintain relationships with core accounts; assist with closing when required
  • Represent the Ag industry and customers internally to the Executive Team, Marketing and Customer Service to ensure customer needs are understood and met 

Qualifications

Must-Have:                      

  • 10+ years in a sales or business development role; with at least 5 years of sales management experience
  • A sound knowledge of the Ag industry and market trends, and an extensive network within the industry
  • Experience selling technical solutions to the agriculture industry
  • Knowledge of GPS/GNSS technology and its applications
  • A successful track record of managing key customer relationships and closing strategic opportunities
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
  • International business experience
  • Must be willing to travel internationally up to 50% of the time
