Overview

Veripos (part of HexagonAB based out of Sweden and a sister company to NovAtel Inc. based in Canada) needs an experienced, passionate and detail oriented marine segment product manager. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer of Hexagon Positioning Intelligence, you would be responsible for an exciting high technology portfolio.

The Marine Segment Product Manager position offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to continue to grow our marine business by defining new product offerings for precise positioning products in the offshore and nearshore markets. You will work closely with the Correction Services Segment and Product Managers, as well as the Marine Sales Managers to define the marine portfolio of services and hardware.

Responsibilities

The Marine Segment Product Manager is responsible for:

  • gathering market and user requirements from multiple marine applications
  • marine portfolio roadmap & future product definition and delivery mechanism
  • product positioning & value proposition
  • product-specific collateral and sales support as required
  • competitive analysis and evaluation
  • champion product through lifecycle from idea to end of life
  • financial forecasts and quarterly financial reporting against forecast

Qualifications

Must-have:

  • 10+ years of experience in GNSS and marine applications
  • 5 years of product management or engineering experience

  • Can easily adapt to a changing environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to create strong working relationship internally and with the customer
