The software user experience, from first impression, through to easy and logical daily workflow, is vitally important. As the User Experience (UX) Product Manager for Hexagon Positioning Intelligence (Hexagon PI) you will be responsible for capturing the essence of "what the user wants" and translating this into a clear vision of customer needs and the human to machine interface to allow our customers to get their job done effectively and efficiently. This role will also be responsible for establishing and overseeing the online sales customer experience. 


You will have opportunities to interact with our customers and partners across a wide range or vertical markets, as well as working closely and collaboratively with Engineering (Chief Engineer, Applications) to drive advancement and innovation on associated user interfaces for all software products across Hexagon PI, as well as defining the requirements, user experiences and interfaces for eCommerce systems.


Hexagon Positioning Intelligence is part of the Hexagon Group and includes NovAtel, Antom and Veripos.


The User Experience Product Manager is responsible for:

  • Strategize and plan how best to represent the company’s value proposition, products and services in its online sales experience
  • Understand the buying criteria of the company’s target customer segments and tailoring the purchasing experience to these needs
  • Define the end-to-end user experience for Hexagon PI software
  • Hexagon PI UI style guide definition
  • Product roadmap & future product definition
  • Product positioning & value proposition
  • Product-specific collateral and sales support as required
  • Competitive analysis and evaluation
  • Champion product through lifecycle from idea to end of life
  • Execute online introduction of new products and services



  • Technical degree (software engineering preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in UX product definition
  • 5+ years experience in high technology electronics environment
