NovAtel is a leading edge supplier of GNSS and positioning technologies with customers all over the world. We are looking for the best and brightest business minds as we continue to expand our technology and business offering into Safety Critical Systems and the autonomous automotive industry. This role offers you the opportunity to work closely and collaboratively with the engineering and business development teams to define new product offerings and take them to market.

 

This position requires approximately 50% travel, mostly international. We are open to considering a remote working relationship for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

The SCS Product Manager is responsible for:

  • Defining our product roadmap & future product definition, delivery mechanisms, and product licensing strategy
  • Creation and execution of the product positioning & value proposition strategy
  • Design product-specific collateral and sales support as required
  • Provide ongoing competitive market analysis and evaluation
  • Champion products from concept to end of life
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish project scope and deliverables that support SCS objectives
  • Establish and modify as appropriate the product value proposition to best reflect customer needs
  • Financial forecasts and quarterly financial reporting against forecast
  • Regularly interact with external customers to create a deep understanding of how our product can satisfy their needs

Qualifications

Must-have:

  • Technical degree (Engineering preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive or related industry
  • 5+ years of product management experience in a highly technical B2B environment
  • Ability to travel internationally (estimate approximately 50% travel)
